The Hawthorns Area Public Access Working Group site meeting will be held in person. We encourage members of the public who would like to attend this meeting to please arrive to the site as stated above by 8:45 a.m. to allow time for parking and walking to the first meeting location. The meeting will start at 9:00 a.m. Please note that we won't be able to accommodate those who arrive late. As the Hawthorns Area is currently closed to the public, the gate will be closed at 9:10 am and remain shut for the duration of the site meeting.

Due to the limited amount of parking on site, please click on this RSVP link no later than 5:00 p.m. March 21, 2024, so that we may address parking needs. For additional information, please refer to the site meeting instructions document enclosed in the packet.


Members of the public may submit comments to be provided to the Public Access Working Group (PAWG):
     • Requests to provide oral comments may be made by submitting a request on the public comment form at the meeting.
     • Written comments may be submitted via the public comment form at: https://www.openspace.org/public-comment.
     • Please take note that, due to the meeting being held on the weekend the deadline for submitting written comments to be provided to the PAWG will be 5 p.m. on the Friday prior to the meeting (March 22). Any submissions received after 5 p.m. on March 22 will be provided to the PAWG after the meeting during business hours.
