Board of Directors - Pete Siemens

Pete Siemens was born in San Francisco and raised in the Central Valley. Pete received a Bachelor of Science degree in Math from Fresno State University and spent 31 years in the Santa Clara Valley as a rocket test engineer. Now retired, Pete is a part time consultant in test-system design. As a hobby, Pete is also a part time Autocross and Road-track driving instructor.

In addition to serving as a District Board Director since 1992, Pete served the Town of Los Gatos as a council member and mayor, planning commissioner, and hillside study committee member. Pete also helped initiate the first joint project between the Town of Los Gatos and the District to purchase St. Joseph’s Hill Open Space Preserve. Pete was more recently on the Town Trails Committee, and was also a member on the Santa Clara County Transportation Commission for ten years.

Pete lives in Los Gatos with his wife Diane, and has two grown children, who are both teachers.
