La Honda Creek Master Plan

Proceedings from the 3rd Master Plan Public Workshop

The District held its third public workshop for the La Honda Creek Master Plan project on November 16, 2006 with more than 50 members of the public in attendance. The project team presented an overview of the recently purchased Driscoll Ranch property and highlighted the new set of challenges and opportunities that need to be considered as a result of adding a working ranch to the Preserve. The public was asked to evaluate a number of high-interest topics including trail corridors and staging areas for the upper area of the Preserve and provide comments on how to incorporate and manage Driscoll Ranch.

Below are some thematic maps of the project area, a map showing potential trails and staging areas, a copy of the Powerpoint presentation, and a meeting summary.
