Below is a list of March - November 2012 proposed field maintenance and repair work on District open space preserves. Actual maintenance and repair work is subject to change based on soil moisture, weather, and scheduling. Additionally, some projects are still going through internal District review processes or external permitting or regulatory review. It is not anticipated that all the proposed work will be completed.

El Corte de Madera Creek

Perform trail tread, drainage, and road work on sections of the following trails:
Fir Trail
Methuselah Trail
Lawrence Creek Trail
Blue Blossom Trail
Steam Donkey Trail
Spring Board Trail
El Corte de Madera Creek Trail
Resolution Trail

Restore former alignment of Leaf Trail from Star Hill Road to the creek.

Construct new parking lot and associated new trails.

Construct new bridge on the Peter's Creek Trail and perform minor trail realignment to new bridge location.

Realign Peter’s Creek Trail.

Improve drainage for Peter’s Creek Trail.

Perform Ward Road drainage maintenance.

Repair Indian Creek Trail slip out.

Perform Skid Road Trail and Stevens Creek Nature Trail tread work and possible trail narrowing.

Repair Easy Access Redwood Trail.

Repair North Ridge Trail.

Perform Harkins Ridge Trail tread maintenance.

Rancho San Antonio

Complete trail and drainage improvements to the trail that will be designated the Quarry Trail, beginning at the top of the PGE Road and Rancho San Antonio and following the ridge up to the Black Mountain Trail.

Russian Ridge

Construct new parking lot on Alpine Road.

Construct new trail to the top of Mindego Hill.

Perform Ancient Oaks Trail tread and drainage work.

Skyline Ridge

Repair Easy Access section of Horseshoe Loop Trail.

Windy Hill

Repair Easy Access Trail to picnic tables.
