Bring your own horse and enjoy breathtaking views of the Bay Area guided by equestrian docent naturalist, Teri Baron and an assistant trail patrol volunteer. Some of the trails included will be Stephen Abbors, Upper High Meadow and High Meadow trails. The strenuous route has significant elevation change and horses should be fit. Bring lunch and a halter. Reservations are required and will be accepted on or after July 7 at 12:00 p.m. (Noon) and close July 20 at 2:00 p.m.
Meet at the equestrian parking lot. From I-280, take Foothill Boulevard south and turn right almost immediately onto Cristo Rey Drive. Continue about 1 mile, veer right around the traffic circle, and turn left into the park. Once inside the preserve, turn left to reach the equestrian parking lot.
