Construction has begun to improve the road and summit of Mount Umunhum so that we can open it to the public. Excavation and grading is the first task to restore the mountain to its original topography. In the interest of public and contractor safety, road and trail closures will be in place for the duration of the project (estimated to be completed in Summer 2017).
