On March 30, over 120 volunteers, hikers and nature enthusiasts joined the Midpen Board of Directors, and San Mateo County Supervisor Don Horsley, for the wonderful grand opening of Mindego Hill and the Mindego Hill Trail in Russian Ridge. On a sparkling sunny afternoon, it was clear to see why Mindego Hill, with its emerald green flanks and panoramic vistas, has been called the “crown jewel of the San Mateo Coastside”.
