Bicycle Access and Connectivity

Please help provide input on highway and freeway bicycle connections to improve mobility and connectivity to your local Open Space Preserves!

Caltrans Bay Area District 4 is actively collecting public input to create its first Bicycle Plan to improve bicycling on and across the State-owned transportation network.  This is a great opportunity to provide your input on how to improve safe bicycle access and connectivity to your Open Space Preserves.  Please consider taking a moment to complete a brief survey for the Caltrans District 4 Bicycle Plan.  This survey is one of your opportunities to help shape the bicycle network in your local community and the Bay Area region.  Caltrans would like to hear from as many residents as possible, so help spread the word.

Caltrans District 4 serves Sonoma, Napa, Solano, Marin, San Francisco, Contra Costa, Alameda, San Mateo and Santa Clara Counties.

Our Parks, Our Future

The Santa Clara County Parks Department is updating their 2003 Strategic Plan. This 2017 Update is a great opportunity for you to provide input in what the Parks Department should focus on over the next 20 years, particularly in regards to linkages to Midpen’s Open Space Preserves to create more seamless wildlife and trail connections across our wonderful greenbelt!  Please visit for more information and to be included on their mailing list for future meeting notifications.
