Join the Midpen board of directors at a virtual study session on July 28, 2021 at 5 p.m. as they hear local redwood conservation stories and case studies from our regional partners who care for forests: Save the Redwoods, Sempervirens Fund, California State Parks and the Peninsula Open Space Trust. Later that evening, the board will give staff direction on project alternatives and a public outreach process for a new Midpen forest management project being planned for a 1,210-acre forested portion of the La Honda Creek Open Space Preserve with a focus on restoration, wildland fire and carbon resiliency and sedimentation reduction.
