Enjoy a late afternoon hike with Docent Naturalists Bobbie Riedel, Sabra Abraham, and Marie Faust Evitt on the autumnal equinox. You'll experience expansive views as you travel through mixed evergreen forest to emerge at each of the preserve's three hilltop benches. Pack a snack to enjoy as the sun starts to sets on Turtle Rock before heading back.

(Note: there is limited roadside parking at the Hickory Oaks entrance; please carpool.)
Reservations are required and will be accepted on or after September 8 at 12:00 p.m. (Noon) and close September 21 at 2:00 p.m.

Where to Meet

Meet at Hickory Oaks Roadside Parking; 5.1 miles south of Page Mill Road or 1.3 miles north of Highway 9 on the west side of Skyline Boulevard.
