As the sun rises high and the days warm up, join Docent Naturalists Noa Doitel, Susan Bernhard, and Maureen Draper for a moderately-paced hike along an old shaded loggers’ trail. You'll learn what the redwood trees have to teach us about surviving heat. You'll hike in the mixed evergreen forest, among the Redwoods and Douglas Firs, as well as other evergreen trees. You’ll visit a Tafoni rock site and learn about this unique rock formation. Bring a lunch bag or a snack.
