CONSENT CALENDAR
All items on the Consent Calendar may be approved without discussion by one motion. Board members, the General Manager, and members of the public may request that an item be removed from the Consent Calendar during consideration of the Consent Calendar.
1. Award of Contract for Conservation Grazing Wildlife-friendly Livestock Fencing at Purisima Creek Redwoods, Cloverdale Ranch, and Skyline Ridge Open Space Preserves (R-25-107)

General Manager’s Recommendations:
1. Award a contract to Southwest Fence and Supply of Paso Robles, California to construct wildlife-friendly fencing on four (4) Grazing Units for a not-to-exceed base contract amount of $359,725.40.
2. Authorize a 10% contingency in the amount of $35,972 to be reserved for unanticipated issues, bringing the total not-to-exceed contract amount to $395,697.40.
2. Approval of Amendment to Agreement between the County of Santa Clara and Midpeninsula Regional Open Space District for Management of Rancho San Antonio County Park (R-25-108)

General Manager’s Recommendations:
1. Authorize the General Manager to execute the attached Amendment to Agreement with the County of Santa Clara for the Management of Rancho San Antonio County Park, which term extends from July 2025 to June 2026.
2. Authorize the General Manager to execute an optional one-year agreement extension for July 2026 through June 2027.
3. Determine that the recommended actions are categorically exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) as set out in the report.
BOARD BUSINESS

3. Second Reading and Adoption of the Board Compensation Ordinance (R-25-109)

General Manager’s Recommendations:
1. Waive reading and adopt Ordinance 25-01 increasing Board compensation from $121.28 to $127.34 per meeting day, pursuant to California Public Resources Code section 5536; the maximum of six compensable meetings per month remains unchanged.
2. Amend Board Policy 6.06 to reflect the increase in compensation resulting from the Board compensation ordinance.
