The Committee Chair will invite public comment on items not the agenda.  Each speaker will ordinarily be limited to three minutes; however, the Brown Act (Open Meeting Law) does not allow action by the Committee on any item not on the agenda. 1. Selection of Committee Chair for the remainder of the Calendar Year 2018

2. Approve the July 17, 2018 Legislative, Funding, And Public Affairs Committee Meeting Minutes

3. Proposed Trail Names for Bear Creek Redwoods Open Space Preserve Phase I Trails (R-18-118)

General Manager’s Recommendation:  Forward a recommendation to the full Board for their review and consideration of the proposed Phase I trail names for Bear Creek Redwoods Open Space Preserve, as set out in this report.

4. Draft 2019 Legislative Program (R-18-119)

Staff Contact: Joshua Hugg, Governmental Affairs Specialist
General Manager’s Recommendation: Review and provide input on the Draft 2019 Legislative Program, and forward a recommendation to the full Board for approval.  The draft document outlines the proposed 2019 legislative priorities and policies for Midpeninsula Regional Open Space District.
