Enjoy a morning hike with views of redwood trees, manzanita and madrone bushes. Join Docent Naturalists Liz Foreman and Lyle Rice to explore this quiet Preserve. Travel along the Schilling Lake and Bridle trails on this moderately-paced out and back hike with one steep hill and some uneven terrain. (Note: Parking is very limited. Please carpool. There are no restrooms at this Preserve.)

Where to Meet

From highway 280, follow Sand Hill road until it becomes Portola Road. Turn right onto Old La Honda Road and you'll get to small turn out parking area at Dennis Martin Creek. Parking spaces are very limited. Carpooling is highly encouraged.
