What does it take to live among the tides? Meander along the Bay Trail with Docent Naturalists Bobbie Riedel and Melissa Hero. You'll discover the plants and animals that make the salt marsh their home and learn how they have adapted to this unique ecosystem. This leisurely-paced walk will leave you with a new appreciation for the importance of wetlands.

Where to Meet

Meet at the Ravenswood Parking Area. From Highway 101, exit on University Avenue. Follow University Ave. north (about four long blocks) to Bay Road. Turn right on Bay Rd. and follow it to the very end (about 1.2 miles). The preserve entrance and parking lot are marked with large signs.
