Approximate Total Miles

Studies show that experiencing “awe” can help you become better, healthier versions of yourself: you can access greater humility and altruism, and you become less stressed and more curious. And what better place to find awe than among the redwoods at sunset? Join Docent Naturalists Anna Lee and Jumana Latif on this awe walk to learn about, and practice, reaping the many "awesome" benefits of time in nature.

Where to Meet

Meet at the Caltrans Skeggs Point Parking Area on the east side of Skyline Boulevard, about 4 miles north of La Honda Road (Highway 84) and 1.5 miles south of Kings Mountain Road.  Please note that Caltrans prohibits a left turn into the parking lot when approaching from the north along Skyline Blvd.

To ensure your experience on a docent naturalist outing is enjoyable please review these activity guidelines.

If your activity requires registration, please be sure to cancel your reservation (from your confirmation email) if you are no longer able to attend so others can participate.

After your participation on a guided activity please share your feedback — your input is meaningful to our volunteers and program staff – thank you!
