Crossing Bridges

August 12, 2023
9:30 am - 12:30 pm
El Corte de Madera Creek Preserve
Approximate Total Miles
3

How many bridges can you cross in one day? Join Docent Naturalists Nancy Weintraub, Nick Yatsko, and Liza Coe to find out on this mindfulness-focused hike. You’ll walk at a leisurely pace on the El Corte de Madera Creek Trail. You’ll consider the phrase “Don’t cross the bridge until you come to it” as you walk in the present moment, leaving behind any stresses or lingering worries. Relax your mind and body among redwoods and the creek, making nature discoveries along the way. Bring a light snack to eat as you observe what is happening around you.

Where to Meet

Meet at the Caltrans Skeggs Point Parking Area on the east side of Skyline Boulevard, about 4 miles north of La Honda Road (Highway 84) and 1.5 miles south of Kings Mountain Road.  Please note that Caltrans prohibits a left turn into the parking lot when approaching from the north along Skyline Blvd.

To ensure your experience on a docent naturalist outing is enjoyable please review these activity guidelines.
