During this leisurely-paced, level stroll along the San Francisco Bay with Docent Naturalists Nick Yatsko, Kate Bauer, and Mary Brunkhorst you’ll look for migratory birds as they return from their northern breeding grounds. You’ll also learn about the restoration of this preserve and its importance to resident wildlife. Bring your lunch, binoculars, any guidebooks you have and, most importantly, your desire to learn about birds.

Where to Meet

Meet at the Ravenswood Parking Area. From Highway 101, exit on University Avenue. Follow University Ave. north (about four long blocks) to Bay Road. Turn right on Bay Rd. and follow it to the very end (about 1.2 miles). The preserve entrance and parking lot are marked with large signs.
