Search for signs of summer while discussing the enterprising Herbert Law, former owner of the land around the Windy Hill property. Docent Naturalists Mary Brunkhorst, Nick Yatsko, and Kate Bauer will guide you on a leisurely-paced hike through mixed evergreen forest and oak woodlands on the Betsy Crowder, Meadow, and Eagle trails. You’ll enjoy lunch along Corte Madera Creek before returning via the Hamms Gulch and Spring Ridge trails.

Where to Meet

The Lower Windy Hill Parking Area at the lower portion of the preserve is located on Portola Road. Please note: This parking lot fills quickly. Please do not park on Portola Road: parking is strictly enforced.
