Join Docent Naturalists Mary Brunkhorst, Kate Bauer, and Dennis Smith on a moderately-paced out-and-back hike along the Zinfandel and Creek trails. While descending to Stevens Creek County Park, you'll pass a seasonal pond and discuss how the landscape is adapting to winter. Enjoy your lunch at the picnic tables near the bank of Stevens Creek.

Where to Meet

Meet at the preserve parking lot on Montebello Road. From the intersection of I-280 and Foothill Expressway, go 3.5 miles southwest (toward the mountains) on Foothill Boulevard/Stevens Canyon Road. Turn right on Montebello Rd. The preserve is 0.5 miles up Montebello Rd. on the left.
