Finding Fauna on the Lost Trail

Meander along the Lost Trail on this moderately-paced, out-and-back hike with Docent Naturalists Marie Faust Evitt and Nick Yatsko. You’ll look for native western brush rabbits and gray squirrels while learning about some of the other animals that make their homes in the grasslands and woodlands of this preserve.

Where to Meet

From the intersection of Highway 84 and Skyline Blvd. (Hwy 35), head south on Skyline Blvd. for 2.3 miles. Picnic Tables Roadside Parking (Highway 35) is just south of the Anniversary trailhead. You'll see parking and a bathroom on the east side of the road and a large pull-out area (where it is okay to park) on the west side.
