The allure of spring flowers; the love of literature; the delight of whimsy. Pack a lunch and amble on this leisurely-paced walk along the Sunny Jim and Ipiwa trails with Docent Naturalists Bobbie Riedel and Jumana Latif in search of wildflowers. You'll discover some of their names and wonder about literary allusions that celebrate these symbols of spring.

Where to Meet

Meet at the Skyline Ridge Circle Parking Area on Skyline Boulevard located one mile south of the Skyline Blvd. (Highway 35) and Page Mill/Alpine Road intersection. After entering the preserve, turn right and go to the farthest parking area. Those traveling from I-280 on Page Mill Rd. should allow approximately 45 minutes travel time.
