Monte Bello Preserve
Approximate Total Miles

Celebrate happiness on a late afternoon, leisurely-paced out-and-back hike to Stevens Creek on the White Oak Trail led by Docent Naturalists Catherine Crawford-Swent, Marie Faust Evitt, and Bobbie Riedel. Along the way you’ll discuss approaches to cultivating happiness, followed by a stop at the base of a large valley oak tree for a 40-minute qigong lesson. This ancient and gentle exercise practice is inspired by nature and offers the potential to invigorate your life force energy, increase physical vitality, and help reduce stress. No prior experience needed.

Where to Meet

Meet at the Monte Bello Parking Area on Page Mill Road (across from Los Trancos Preserve), 7 miles west of I-280 or 1.5 miles east of Skyline Boulevard. Those traveling from I-280 on Page Mill Rd. should allow approximately 35 minutes travel time.
