Ready for a fun adventure? Join Docent Naturalists Roberta and Jaime Cavazos and Melissa Hero to look for and learn about lizards. On this leisurely-paced, family-friendly hike, you’ll follow along the Clarkia Trail in Edgewood Park & Natural Preserve with a watchful and quick eye to admire these fast creatures. You may even spot other speedy animals along the way! Bring a light snack to enjoy along the trail.

Where to Meet

Meet at the Clarkia Trailhead across from the parking pull-out off Cañada Rd. Exit I-280 at Edgewood Road. From the north: Turn right onto Edgewood Rd (signs for Cañada Rd). From the south: Turn left onto Edgewood Rd. After half a mile, turn left onto Cañada Rd. and travel 0.7 miles. The parking pull-out is on the right, across from the park. There is a crosswalk to cross Cañada Road to get to the trailhead.
