Join Docent Naturalists Bobbie Riedel, Nancy Weintraub, and Lindsay Joye for a walk in the woods to learn both natural and cultural history. Ramble through mixed evergreen forest and learn how oaks support more diversity than any other California plant community. Follow the footsteps of a Native American thoroughfare and hear how Ohlone shaped our landscape for thousands of years. Discover the beauty found at the edges of two preserves: Long Ridge and Saratoga Gap.

(Note: Parking is limited at the Hickory Oaks trailhead; please carpool. There are no restrooms.)
