Measure AA Hike: Trail Trek Thursday

Escape the heat of the summer on this Trail Trek, an exercise-focused hike in the redwood forest. Join Docent Naturalists Nancy Weintraub, Bobbie Riedel, and Nick Yatsko on this moderately-paced exploration through a habitat of ferns, wildflowers, Douglas fir, and redwood trees. You’ll follow the Oljon, Steam Donkey, Crosscut, and Sierra Morena trails, among others; visit the ancient Methuselah tree; and learn how Measure AA funding helped protect the watershed and improved several of the trails.

Where to Meet

Meet at the El Corte de Madera Parking Area located on the west side of Highway 35 (Skyline Boulevard), about 1- mile south of the Caltrans Skeggs Point parking area and 2.7 miles north of the intersection of Highway 35 and Highway 84.
