Enjoy this family-friendly nature walk to look for the different plants which produce berries, some of which are edible! This is a wonderful opportunity to learn what berries are used for: the plant, animals and people. Your Docent Naturalists Olga and Tony Bright and Annie Guo will guide you on a leisurely pace along the Betsy Crowder Trail around Sausal Pond.

Where to Meet

The Lower Windy Hill Parking Area at the lower portion of the preserve is located on Portola Road. Please note: This parking lot fills quickly. Please do not park on Portola Road: parking is strictly enforced.
