Explore the habitats of the lower part of this preserve with Docent Naturalists Marie-Anne Neimat, Emma Finter, and Laura Levin. On this leisurely-paced, easy loop hike you'll meander along the Betsy Crowder and Spring Ridge trails while observing the effects of autumn on riparian, chaparral, and mixed evergreen forest plant communities.

Where to Meet

The Lower Windy Hill Parking Area at the lower portion of the preserve is located on Portola Road. Please note: This parking lot fills quickly. Please do not park on Portola Road: parking is strictly enforced.
