Hear about ancient beliefs, admire the wildflowers, and appreciate the environmental activism that enables you to enjoy these open spaces. Docent Naturalists Marie-Anne Neimat, Emma Finter, and Laura Levin will relate old beliefs around Turtle Rock. You’ll also enjoy early-blooming wildflowers and beautiful views (weather permitting). The Wallace Stegner Bench will provide you another chance to admire the landscape and hear about author Wallace Stegner’s contributions to preservation. You'll return along the same path.

Where to Meet

Meet at Hickory Oaks Roadside Parking; 5.1 miles south of Page Mill Road or 1.3 miles north of Highway 9 on the west side of Skyline Boulevard.
