Looking for a shorter morning hike through gentle terrain in congenial company? Join Docent Naturalists Laura Levin, Emma Finter, and Marie-Anne Neimat for a leisurely exploration of the Zinfandel Trail. You’ll stop frequently to discuss the preserve’s agricultural history, geology, flora and fauna. At the hike’s conclusion, you’ll have the option of continuing your conversation while relaxing in the shaded picnic area or exploring the historic winery grounds.

Where to Meet

Meet at the preserve parking lot on Montebello Road. From the intersection of I-280 and Foothill Expressway, go 3.5 miles southwest (toward the mountains) on Foothill Boulevard/Stevens Canyon Road.  Turn right on Montebello Rd.  The preserve is 0.5 miles up Montebello Rd. on the left.
