Come out before the rain starts and show your love for the land this Valentines Day by hiking through the green hills, pointing out and observing plants, animals, and other denizens of the natural world you find especially intriguing. Join Interpretive Specialist Katie Renz and Docent Naturalists Alison Hurst, Lyle Rice, and Casey Litton for a leisurely-paced exploration along the Lost Trail and perhaps a bit beyond to celebrate our connection to the beautiful world around you. What can you discover in a few hours on the trail, the day before a forecast storm? Bring snacks or a lunch, and layers to stay comfortable during the changing weather.

Where to Meet

Meet at the Picnic Tables Roadside Parking (Highway 35), just south of Anniversary trailhead.

To ensure your experience on a docent naturalist outing is enjoyable please review these activity guidelines.
