Do ever wonder what's in a pond? Join Docent Naturalists Roberta and Jaime Cavazos, and Catherine Crawford-Swent on this family-friendly activity to see what you'll discover! Hiking along the Zinfadel and Vista trails you'll listen and look for signs of life in and around the pond. Bring a light snack to have while you're "pondering". Option to bring your lunch to enjoy at the picnic tables at Picchetti Winery on your own after the hike.

Where to Meet

Meet at the preserve parking lot on Montebello Road. From the intersection of I-280 and Foothill Expressway, go 3.5 miles southwest (toward the mountains) on Foothill Boulevard/Stevens Canyon Road. Turn right on Montebello Rd. The preserve is 0.5 miles up Montebello Rd. on the left.
