Qi Gong Along the Trails

July 17, 2024
9:30 am - 1:00 pm
Monte Bello Preserve
Approximate Total Miles

You are nature, and immersing yourself in the natural world is like coming home. Join Docent Naturalists Catherine Crawford-Swent, Marie Faust Evitt, and Megan Elmore for a moderately-paced hike through grassland, mixed-oak forest, and riparian habitat. You’ll stop intermittently to do qi gong movements led by Crawford-Swent, including the "Five Animal Frolics,” "Deer Walking," "Flying," and "Dancing with the Trees.” Qi gong can help invigorate your life force energy, increase physical vitality, reduce stress, and lead you on a path toward longevity. Bring a snack for a short break.

Where to Meet

Meet at the Monte Bello Parking Area on Page Mill Road (across from Los Trancos Preserve), 7 miles west of I-280 or 1.5 miles east of Skyline Boulevard. Those traveling from I-280 on Page Mill Rd. should allow approximately 35 minutes travel time.
