Join Docent Naturalists Peter Maxwell, Roger Wigenstam, An Scharlaken, and Steve Crawford for a scenic and aerobic ride through three different, contiguous preserves. On this advanced route, you’ll go as far as the Tree Farm Trail in Skyline Ridge Preserve. You’ll also visit Turtle Rock in Long Ridge Preserve and maybe see live turtles at Jikoji Pond. Participants must be experienced and able to ride steep, narrow, and at times rough single-track trails. Total elevation gain is approximately 1,950 feet. Reservations are required and will be accepted on or after September 6 at 12:00 p.m. (Noon) and close September 19 at 2:00 p.m.

Where to Meet

Meet at Caltran's Saratoga Gap Vista Point Parking Area on the southeast corner of the Skyline Boulevard (Highway 35) and Highway 9 intersection.
