Join Docent Naturalists Fran Keeler, Mary Brunkhorst, Inga Buyse, and Lindsay Joye for a moderately-paced, exercise-focused hike on trails with beautiful scenery. You'll start your outing on the Lexington Reservoir side of this 19,000-acre preserve and then hike along the Limekiln and Priest Rock trails with a total elevation gain of approximately 1,100 feet.

Where to Meet

Meet at the Limekiln Trail Parking Area, which is on Alma Bridge Road near Lexington Reservoir. From southbound Highway 17, exit at Bear Creek Road; turn right at the stop sign, drive across Hwy. 17 on the overpass, turn left and enter Hwy. 17 North for 0.5 miles before exiting onto Alma Bridge Road. From northbound Hwy. 17, exit the highway at Alma Bridge Road. Once on Alma Bridge Road, travel 1.2 miles around to the east side of Lexington Reservoir; the parking area in on the right just past Limekiln Canyon Road.
