Pulgas Ridge Preserve
Approximate Total Miles
4.2

Immerse in the quietness and serenity of nature on this moderately-paced hike with Docent Naturalists Liz Foreman and Susan Bernhard. You’ll learn about woodland, grassland, chaparral and riparian natural communities and explore how they are similar to human communities. Nature’s lessons can assist in creating opportunities for self-reflection and life fulfillment. Sharing these experiences builds connection and community. You’ll hike along the Blue Oak, Dusky-Footed Woodrat and Cordilleras Creek Trails with 800 feet of elevation change and uneven terrain.

Where to Meet

Meet at the Pulgas Ridge Parking Area on Edmonds Rd. From I-280, exit Edgewood Road.  Drive 0.75 miles on Edgewood Rd. toward San Carlos/Redwood City. Turn left (north) on Crestview Drive, then immediately turn left on Edmonds Road. Follow Edmonds Rd. to the preserve parking lot entrance on the right.
