What’s in a name? Come take a leisurely-paced hike along the Sierra Morena and Skyline trails to visit an ancient redwood tree named Methuselah with Docent Naturalists Bobbie Riedel and Katie Wilson. Learn about the patriarch behind this poetic name, and the idioms, etymology and meanings that we have instilled in our languages.

Where to Meet

Meet at the El Corte de Madera Parking Area located on the west side of Highway 35 (Skyline Boulevard), about 1- mile south of the Caltrans Skeggs Point parking area and 2.7 miles north of the intersection of Highway 35 and Highway 84.
