Enjoy a moderately-paced evening hike with Docent Naturalists Ann Reisenauer, Susan Bernhard, Noa Doitel, and Maureen Draper. You’ll take the Ancient Oaks and Ridge trails to Borel Hill where you’ll look out over the Bay Area and identify Mt. Diablo and other landmarks. On the return trip you’ll follow the Bo Gimbal and Ancient Oaks trails, noting how wildflowers and birds respond to the approaching dusk. After the hike, you’ll walk over to the Audrey C. Rust Commemorative Site. Bring a snack to enjoy while you watch the sun set behind Mindego Hill. Reservations are required and will be accepted on or after April 25 at 12:00 p.m. (Noon) and close May 8 at 2:00 p.m.
