Want a spectacular view of the Bay and a chance to watch the sun set? Join Docent Naturalists Susan Dunn, Catherine Xun, and Nancy Weintraub on this moderately-paced loop hike with 800 feet of elevation gain. You'll take the Mindego Hill Trail to the Charquin and Ridge trails to visit the top of Borel Hill for 360 degree views, then descend on the Bo Gimbal and Ancient Oak trails with the setting sun. Don’t forget to set your clocks ahead when you get home—this is the last evening of Standard Time!

Drive about 9 miles to the junction with Skyline Boulevard, cross over Skyline Blvd. and on to Alpine Road. Continue on Alpine Rd. for 1.5 miles. Parking area is on the right.
