Explore how plants survive in our long dry summers with Docent Naturalists Sabra Abraham, Lindsay Joye, and John Seyfarth. Hike a moderately-paced loop on the Blue Oak, Dick Bishop, Polly Geraci, and Cordilleras trails and discover the variety of adaptations local flora use to thrive in our Mediterranean climate.

Where to Meet

Meet at the Pulgas Ridge Parking Area on Edmonds Rd. From I-280, exit Edgewood Road.  Drive 0.75 miles on Edgewood Rd. toward San Carlos/Redwood City. Turn left (north) on Crestview Drive, then immediately turn left on Edmonds Road. Follow Edmonds Rd. to the preserve parking lot entrance on the right.
