Trail Trek

March 23, 2023
9:00 am - 12:30 pm
Rancho San Antonio Preserve
Approximate Total Miles
6.2

Trail Treks, scheduled on the fourth Thursday, provide exercise-focused hikes and opportunities to discover Midpen's beautiful preserves.

Join Docent Naturalists Nancy Weintraub, Nick Yatsko, Bobbie Riedel, and Linda Wegner for a moderately-paced trek to follow the stream on the Lower Meadow Trail where you can peak at brilliant trilliums before passing the farm to Rogue Valley Trail past the pond (and to catch a glimpse of a waterfall). You'll follow Upper Rogue Valley Trail and go down Upper High Meadow Trail and return on Lower Meadow Trail.

(Note: Arrive early and allow extra time to find parking.)

Where to Meet

Meet near the restroom at the bottom of the hill in the preserve parking lot farthest to the right. From I-280, take Foothill Boulevard south and turn right almost immediately onto Cristo Rey Drive. Continue about 1 mile, veer right around the traffic circle, and turn left into the park. After entering the preserve, turn right and drive approximately 0.3 miles to Lot 6
