Trail Treks, scheduled on the fourth Thursday, provide exercise-focused hikes and opportunities to discover our beautiful preserves. Join Docent Naturalists Anouchka Gaillard, Nancy Weintraub, Linda Wegner and Nick Yatsko for a moderate to vigorously-paced trek. You'll follow a loop route first on the Tafoni Trail, making a short detour to observe the Tafoni Sandstone formation, and then continue on the Fir, Resolution, and El Corte de Madera Creek Trails for a total of 1100-feet elevation change. Bring your own lunch and water as you'll stop around noon for a 10-minute break. (Note: there is no restroom at the trailhead).

Where to Meet

Meet at the Caltrans Skeggs Point Parking Area on the east side of Skyline Boulevard, about 4 miles north of La Honda Road (Highway 84) and 1.5 miles south of Kings Mountain Road.  Please note that Caltrans prohibits a left turn into the parking lot when approaching from the north along Skyline Blvd.
