El Corte de Madera Creek Preserve
Approximate Total Miles

Trail Treks, scheduled the last Thursday of the month provide exercise-focused hikes and opportunities to discover Midpen's beautiful preserves.
Looking for some shade? Enjoy a hike under the forest’s canopy with Docent Naturalists Nick Yatsko, Bobbie Riedel, and Nancy Weintraub on this moderately-paced loop. Your route will include the Timberview and Gordon Mill trails, on which you'll visit an old-growth redwood and gain a total of 1,500 feet of elevation. Bring lunch or a snack for break.

Where to Meet

Meet at the El Corte de Madera Parking Area located on the west side of Highway 35 (Skyline Boulevard), about one mile south of the Caltrans Skeggs Point parking area and 2.7 miles north of the intersection of Highway 35 and Highway 84.
