Russian Ridge Preserve
Approximate Total Miles
5.5

Trail Treks, scheduled on the fourth Thursday, provide exercise-focused hikes and opportunities to discover Midpen's beautiful preserves.

Join Docent Naturalists Nancy Weintraub, Nick Yatsko, and Bobbie Riedel for a moderately-paced loop trek with a 950-foot climb along a variety of sunny and shaded trails. You'll appreciate the sweeping views along the Ridge Trail to Borel Hill, visit a windmill, and traverse grasslands and oak woodlands along Hawk Ridge, Alder Spring, Charquin, and Ancient Oaks trails.

Where to Meet

Meet at the Russian Ridge Parking Area on the northwest corner of the Skyline Boulevard (Highway 35) and Page Mill/Alpine Road intersection (across Skyline Blvd. on the right). Those traveling from I-280 on Page Mill Rd. should allow approximately 40 minutes travel time.
