In February, Docent Naturalists Roberta and Jaime Cavazos and Melissa Hero helped you search for very hungry caterpillars. Now that it's summer, you’ll have the chance to find out if these insects went through metamorphosis. Did the very hungry caterpillars turn into beautiful butterflies? Let's see! Enjoy this leisurely-paced, family-friendly hike along the Ipiwa Trail looking for these amazing creatures and other really cool summertime nature phenomena. Bring a light snack to eat on the trail.
