Indulge your curiosity on a leisurely-paced hike along the Zinfandel and Vista trails with Docent Naturalists Alison Hurst, Bobbie Riedel, Dave Kocsis, and Mari Aldridge. Come ready to immerse yourself in the natural world and engage your senses: See signs of spring, listen for critters, and notice the shifting scents of the forest. Let your eyes, ears, nose, and heart guide you as you discover the small wonders often overlooked. Bring a snack for a brief break. At the end of the hike, enjoy an optional visit on your own time to the historic Picchetti Winery.

Where to Meet

Meet at the preserve parking lot on Montebello Road. From the intersection of I-280 and Foothill Expressway, go 3.5 miles southwest (toward the mountains) on Foothill Boulevard/Stevens Canyon Road.  Turn right on Montebello Rd.  The preserve is 0.5 miles up Montebello Rd. on the left.
