Join Docent Naturalists John Seyfarth, Katie Wilson, and Liza Coe for a leisurely-paced morning hike exploring the habitats of this diverse preserve. Along the trail, you'll learn about the different plant communities and look for animals (or their signs) like birds, mammals, salamanders, and turtles. You'll explore the many delights nature has to offer along the Betsy Crowder, Meadow, and Spring Ridge trails. Capable, attentive children 10 years and older are welcome.

Where to Meet

The Lower Windy Hill Parking Area at the lower portion of the preserve is located on Portola Road. Please note: This parking lot fills quickly. Please do not park on Portola Road: parking is strictly enforced.
