Join Midpen partner, Latino Outdoors on Sunday, October 26th from 10am to 1pm for a nature journaling hike.

Hike Details: Zinfandel and Bear Meadow Loop 1.5 miles with 250 ft in elevation gain (note: we might make minor changes to the hike but it will remain similar). A couple steep sections, wear hiking shoes or shoes with good tread for traction.

We will take our time as we walk, observe the nature around us and have some prompts to respond to in our journals.

Journal materials, food/snacks to share, and other goodies will be provided.

Other things to note:

  • Pets are NOT allowed.
  • Dress in layers.
  • LO waiver required. We will send it out later, keep an eye for it in your email.
  • Parking is free at the Picchetti Ranch Parking Lot.

Where to Meet

Meet at the preserve parking lot on Montebello Road. From the intersection of I-280 and Foothill Expressway, go 3.5 miles southwest (toward the mountains) on Foothill Boulevard/Stevens Canyon Road.  Turn right on Montebello Rd.  The preserve is 0.5 miles up Montebello Rd. on the left.
