Join Midpen partner, Latino Outdoors on Sunday, November 15 from 9am to noon for their Take a Hike Day at La Honda Creek!

One of Midpen's largest and most diverse preserves, La Honda Creek offers immersion into a historic ranchland with grazing cattle, views of the San Mateo County Coast and Santa Cruz Mountains and pockets of redwood forest.

The purpose of Take a Hike Day is to encourage people to step outside, enjoy local parks or nature trails, and experience the physical and mental health benefits of hiking.

The trail we will hike is around 3 miles with 300 ft in elevation gain, generally considered easy/moderate.

We will have tamales for folks and other snacks!

If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to Aurora.Cortes@LatinoOutdoors.Org

Please use the Eventbrite registration link to sign up to attend.
