The trails in Pulgas Ridge Preserve follow canyons and ridgetops with views toward the bay and surrounding hillsides. In early spring, visitors can enjoy native wildflowers including Indian warrior, hound’s tongue, mule’s ears and milkmaids. Three members of the lily family are early spring bloomers here: fetid adder’s tongue, giant trillium and mission bells. This preserve allows dogs and offers an off-leash dog area for your four-legged friends. The accessible Cordilleras Trail brings visitors into a quiet wooded valley along Cordilleras Creek.
